Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Facts about MY REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

1. I had a tubo-ovarian abscess.
2. And Pelvic inflammatory disease.
3. Which made me really sick, and miss 2 1/2 months of school.
4. When I started to try for a baby, I couldn't get pregnant.
5. I started bleeding all the time after I ovulated.
6. This lasted for years.
7. They kept switching me to different birth control pills.
8. But it never worked.
9. Finally, they found out my uterine lining was too thick.
10. So they did a D&C to clean it out.
11. I also had a lap done, which determined that my left ovary and tube are completely wrapped in scar tissue.
12. They aren't able to be seen on ultrasound, hence the title of this blog.
13. I'm hoping me and my one good tube can still have a baby. Stay tuned.
